Project | Mortlach 20 years old Single Malt Whisky
Material | FSC certified paper and cardboard
Special features | Impressive gold print
The Mortlach distillery was founded in 1823 as the first legal distillery in the town of Dufftown. In 1853, the former engineer George Cowie joined the company and played a driving role at Mortlach in the years that followed. Almost 200 years later, whiskies of the highest quality are still produced in Dufftown.
The Mortlach 20yo Single Malt Whisky is a very special example of the distillery from Dufftown. With 20 years of maturation, it has a stately age. The single malt whisky was matured in former sherry casks and refilled bourbon casks.

To make the whisky look special from the outside as well, we produced a very special cardboard box. We used printed art paper for the cover, and it should be emphasised that all paper and cardboard parts are FSC-certified.

The interior features a beautiful inner padding, which is suitable for accommodating both the 0.70L and the 0.75L bottle.

One challenge of this project was the print on the front of the packaging. The large gold foil print required great attention to match perfectly with the paper.

Another highlight of the packaging is the way it works, which allows the bottle to be presented in a beautiful way by removing the lid. The special print, which was specially placed in the door, supports this effect.

The result of our cooperation is a great product and a satisfied customer. With great pleasure, we accompanied the path of a wonderful product and are excited about future projects.
