For over a decade, we have enjoyed a trusting and successful relationship with our partner Diageo – Johnnie Walker’s parent company.

Founded in 1830 by the McAskill brothers, Johnnie Walker Distillery is considered the oldest distillery on the legendary Isle of Skye.

Johnnie Walker is an integral part of the Isle of Skye and has defied wind and weather on its edge for almost 200 years. Produced in the old tradition, inspired by the landscape and the massive rocky coasts, a very special whisky experience is created here.

The customer’s wish was to have a luxurious cabinet with an adequate drawer for the presentation and storage of the 48-year-old whisky.

To meet the sustainability aspect, we used only FSC-certified wood and veneer, which was partially stained to an individual Pantone colour. The doors of the cabinet always remain well closed thanks to an individualised metal lock.

Opening the box reveals a glimpse of the harmonious interior. In addition to the soft lining of the interior, the product has many other accents that give it that certain something. The inscriptions, the hinges and the mysterious drawer round off the stylish overall picture inside.

Staining the wood to the individual shade of green presented a challenge in this project, as wood is a natural material and reacts slightly differently each time. However, by agreeing on natural tolerances, this challenge was quickly solved.

All in all, we can look back on a very successful project, which was brought to a wonderful conclusion thanks to the appropriate know-how and our passion for packaging.
