The Dalmore Distillery is located in Scotland, on the shores of the Cromarty Firth, overlooking the Black Isle.
The special naming of the whisky distillery is based on a legend that dates back to 1263. Colin of Kintail, chief of the Mackenzie clan, once saved King Alexander III from a stormy stag, which now adorns the bottles of The Dalmore distillery as an emblem.

In the production process, The Dalmore King Alexander III is matured in six different casks, consisting of wine, Madeira, sherry, Marsala, Kentucky bourbon and port, which gives the whisky its unique taste.
Our customer’s wish was to keep the bottles in a valuable-looking gift box to create a harmonious overall image of the product. To achieve this, the emblem of the distillery was placed in 3D optics, just like on the bottle itself. Furthermore, the box is made of certified cardboard and certified MDF in a matt look. If you open the jacket of the packaging and attach it to the back, the whisky is presented in all its glory. Completing the inside of the opening cover is an embedded printed image that references the legend of The Dalmore distillery.

The challenge of the packaging was to be able to attach the front cover to the back after opening without scratching the stag’s head in the process. By adding spacers, this was achieved without affecting the appearance of the product.
It makes us proud to have realised a great product through the good cooperation of all involved.
