Special features | Finishing by blind printing on PU and screen printing

As a tribute to the most famous Italian poet and philosopher Dante Alighieri, Montegrappa published some time ago under the name „Dante Alighieri: Inferno“ writing instruments, which were available as a limited edition, in reference to his famous work „La Divina Commedia“, translated as „The Divine Comedy“.
700 years after Alighieri’s death, the inaugural „Inferno“ volume was chosen to illustrate the supreme poet’s journey through the afterlife. Since Dante’s death, his vision of virtue has rarely been more faithfully realized.

To match the book series, we produced a case in book look that securely encloses the valuable writing instrument. The body of the case is made of cardboard, covered with red PU-leather and blind embossed. The frame of the case was covered with paper, so that the overall appearance is reminiscent of an old book. Both the insert inside and the pen pocket were made of the same suede.
The case is enclosed in a thick protective cover, covered with red textured paper. This is refined by a silver hot foil stamping.

Another special feature are the materials used. Both the cardboard and the paper used are FSC-certified materials.
As in the past, we are pleased to have been able to realize a worthy packaging for this special occasion together with Montegrappa.
